What actually gets coached
Four parts of a profile. We work hardest on the one nobody teaches.
School performance belongs to the school. Our attention goes where a coach can genuinely move the needle, and where selective universities look hardest.
School performance
Boards and school grades stay with the school and its teachers. We plan around the calendar rather than competing with it.
Test aptitude
Thinking-skills style reasoning for Indian liberal arts and interdisciplinary universities. We do not run standard SAT or CLAT coaching.
Extra-curriculars
Fewer, deeper commitments that say something true about the student, with real-world assignments and projects that create value.
The thinking individual
Curiosity, critical reading, argument, writing and self-awareness. This is the majority of our time together.
Which adds up to a unique personal narrative
An application is not a list of achievements; it is an argument about a person. Everything above exists to make that argument specific, evidenced and unmistakably the student's own.
Programmes
Choose by the grade the student is in, not by the season.
Three front-door programmes, each one taught one-on-one by the same coach from the first session to the last. Session counts are fixed; the pacing adapts to school and board calendars.
- 01Exploring PathwaysGrades 9–10
-
36 sessions over 2–3 years. The widest runway we offer. The student builds a reading habit, learns to argue and write, and tests interests before any of it has to become a decision.
- All six learning modules, taken slowly and in depth
- Stream and subject planning for Grades 11 and 12
- Extra-curricular direction: fewer commitments, pursued further
- A first university map, revisited every few months
- 02Learning AcademyGrade 11
-
26 sessions over 12–15 months. The decisive year. Profile depth and written voice are built now so that Grade 12 is execution rather than invention.
- Critical reading and writing, with the student publishing their own blog
- Reasoning practice aimed at thinking-skills style aptitude papers
- Real-world assignments and a value-creation project
- University shortlist and narrative drafted before Grade 12 begins
- 03Admissions BootcampGrade 12
-
16 sessions over 4–6 months. Application season handled end to end, for three to five applications in India or abroad.
- Shortlist, eligibility and deadline calendar
- Application forms, essays and recommendation strategy
- Aptitude test preparation, including Cambridge-style thinking skills
- Three mock interview rounds with written feedback
Shorter engagements are available where a family needs them: a condensed admissions capsule, and standalone interview preparation. Ask on the call.
Included in every programme
The same toolkit, whichever door you come in through.
1-to-1 coaching
Every session with the former Head of Admissions at Ashoka University. Never a batch, never an associate.
Reading list
A curated, evolving list matched to the student's interests and level.
NewsTrack
Structured engagement with current affairs, so general awareness is built, not crammed.
Real-world assignments
Written, research and project work that produces something defensible.
Analytics & feedback
Performance tracked session by session, with written feedback in real time.
Parent check-ins
Regular, candid conversations with parents about progress and pacing.
How a session works
A rhythm the student can hold alongside school.
Pre-work
A reading, a case or a problem set, sent ahead.
Live session
One-on-one discussion and Socratic questioning.
Assignment
Written or research work completed offline.
Presentation
The student defends the work and gets feedback.
- Curated reading list and NewsTrack for current affairs
- Real-world assignments and value-creation projects
- Performance analytics with real-time written feedback
- Regular parent check-ins on progress and pacing
Fees
Discussed on the call, after the recommendation.
Programmes differ in length and intensity, so a single price list would be misleading. On the consultation call we agree what the student actually needs, then share the fee for that programme along with quarterly and monthly payment options. Goods and services tax applies as per Indian law.
Start with a conversation
A free consultation, with the coach who will actually teach your child.
We look at the grade, the board, the interests and the shortlist, and tell you honestly what the next two years should look like. No sales team, no call centre.
